A guest bed is easier to accommodate when it disappears beneath the main bunk after the visit. This tall dark cherry twin-over-twin bunk includes a pull-out twin trundle while keeping the shorter end-ladder layout that saves about 20" of overall length compared with the stairway model. You can install the four-step ladder at either end and toward the front or back, and its flat rungs provide a comfortable foothold. Extra headroom between the bunks and a traditional dark cherry-stained finish complete a setup designed for both everyday use and occasional guests.
Made from solid Brazilian pine with no particleboard, the main bunk can later be separated into two individual twin beds. With the trundle in use, the room gains a third sleeping surface; with it stored away, the front of the bed remains open and uncluttered.
