Bunk Beds, Loft Beds and Captains Beds for your Family

Finding the right bed and room setup is important for a comfortable night’s sleep. Our selection of bunk beds, loft beds and captains beds helps families make better use of available space while giving children a dependable and enjoyable place to sleep.

We focus on quality construction, thoughtful details and family-friendly designs. Our beds are made with solid wood and designed to provide lasting value, dependable support and a fun bedroom environment.

Bunk beds are especially useful for children who share a room. They provide separate sleeping spaces without taking up the floor space required by two traditional beds. Our collection includes options for younger children, growing teenagers and family guest rooms.

Our popular stairway bunk beds include three or four drawers built into the steps for convenient storage. Available configurations include twin over twin, twin over full, full over full and tall twin over twin, allowing families to select the arrangement that best suits their space and sleeping needs.

For younger children, our castle-style loft beds combine sleeping and play space. Families can choose from multiple colors and tent designs to create an imaginative bedroom. For older children, contemporary low loft beds with either stairs or a ladder offer a practical raised-bed option.

Bedz King directly imports and warehouses the solid-wood beds we sell. This helps us maintain product availability and provide prompt shipping. Our buying guides and FAQs are also available to help families compare sizes, configurations and features.

As a family-owned and operated business, we take product safety seriously. Every Bedz King bed, including its paint, finishes and applicable hardware, is tested and certified to meet relevant federal safety requirements, including 16 CFR Part 1303 for lead in paint and similar surface-coating materials and 15 U.S.C. § 1278a for total lead content in children’s products.

Our beds are mattress-ready for added convenience. Please contact us with questions about sizes, configurations, mattresses or room planning. You can also visit our resources page for additional buying tips and recommendations.

Safety Features for Bunk Beds

Safety should be one of the most important considerations when selecting a bunk bed. Although bunk beds must meet applicable testing and safety requirements, families should still carefully review the construction and features of each bed.

Side Rails

Guardrails on the upper bunk are essential. Look for durable guardrails that are properly positioned and securely attached to the bed frame. The mattress should also meet the manufacturer’s recommended dimensions so the guardrails remain at the intended height.

Ladder or Stairs?

Both ladders and stairs should be securely attached to the bed. Stairs can be easier for younger children to navigate and may also provide built-in storage. The stair unit should be made from durable materials and securely connected to the main bed frame.

A ladder should remain stable while the child climbs and should not shift or loosen during normal use.

Solid-Wood Construction

Review the materials and overall construction of the bed. A well-built solid-wood frame provides a strong and dependable foundation. Connections, rails, slats, stairs and ladders should all fit securely and remain stable during use.

Storage Features

Built-in storage can help families make better use of a child’s bedroom. The most useful options are under-bed drawers and drawers incorporated into a stairway.

Under-Bed Drawers

Under-bed drawers add storage without permanently occupying additional floor space. They can be used for clothing, bedding, toys and other bedroom items while keeping them easily accessible.

Drawers in the Stairs

Stairway drawers combine access to the upper bunk with practical storage. Because the drawers are incorporated into the staircase, they can help maximize storage without requiring a separate dresser or cabinet.
