A smaller overall footprint does not have to mean giving up useful storage. This tall dark cherry end-ladder bunk keeps the front of the bed open and adds two free-rolling drawers beneath the lower bunk for bedding, clothes, toys, and other everyday items. The taller design provides additional headroom between the twin bunks, while the four-step ladder can be mounted at either end and toward the front or back to suit the room. Compared with the stairway version, the end-ladder layout is about 20" shorter overall and has a traditional dark cherry-stained finish.
Built from solid Brazilian pine with no particleboard, the bunk can be separated into two standalone twin beds when the room needs a different arrangement. The under-bed drawers add storage without changing the compact end-ladder concept, making this configuration especially useful where both floor space and organization matter.
