We do not sell personal information for money. Certain disclosures through advertising, marketing, analytics, review, and similar technologies may, however, constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law even when no money is exchanged. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information Under California Law
Bunk Bed King does not sell personal information for money.
California law defines “sale” and “sharing” more broadly, and certain disclosures through advertising, marketing, analytics, review, or similar technologies may qualify as a sale or sharing even when no money is exchanged.
In the preceding 12 months, we may have sold or shared the following categories of personal information for CCPA purposes:
- Identifiers, including online, device, cookie, and similar identifiers and, where applicable, limited contact identifiers used for audience matching.
- Personal information described in California Civil Code Section 1798.80(e), limited to contact information used for marketing or audience matching where applicable.
- Commercial information, including product-view, cart, purchase, and product-interest information.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information.
- Approximate geolocation information derived from IP address or similar network information.
- Inferences concerning product interests or preferences.
These categories may be sold or shared with categories of third parties that include advertising networks, social-media and advertising platforms, marketing platforms, analytics and measurement providers, and review or marketing technology providers.
The business or commercial purposes include cross-context behavioral advertising, audience matching, ad delivery, campaign attribution, analytics, personalization, and measuring the effectiveness of advertising and marketing.
Our Shopify Customer Privacy configuration is designed to stop supported sale- or sharing-qualifying technologies from collecting information when an applicable opt-out is in effect.
An opt-out of sale or sharing does not necessarily disable processing that does not constitute a sale or sharing under applicable law, such as ecommerce functionality, security, fraud prevention, transaction processing, and certain service or measurement operations.
We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Disclosures for Business Purposes in the Preceding 12 Months

- Commercial information.
- Internet or other electronic network activity.

Your Privacy Choices — Opting Out of Sale or Sharing
California residents and residents of other applicable jurisdictions may direct us not to sell or share their personal information by visiting:
Your Privacy Choices
https://www.bunkbedking.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out
You do not need to create an account to exercise this opt-out right.
We also process qualifying Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals as opt-out preference signals where required by law.
A GPC signal generally applies to the browser or device from which the signal is received. If Shopify is able to associate the device sending the signal with a customer account, the opt-out may also be applied to that account.
You may need to enable GPC on each browser or device you use.
Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers and partners use cookies, pixels, browser storage, server-side technologies, and similar tools to operate the Services, maintain carts and sessions, remember preferences, secure transactions, analyze website usage, measure advertising, provide reviews, and support marketing.
Our current technology providers include, among others:
- Shopify
- Meta, including Facebook and Instagram
- Google and YouTube
- Microsoft
- Klaviyo
- Fera
Their specific use of information depends on the service involved and your applicable privacy choices.
Some technologies are necessary to operate the Services. Other technologies may be used for personalization, analytics, or marketing.
Where required, Shopify's customer privacy controls are used to apply consent or opt-out choices to supported technologies.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a traditional “Do Not Track” or “DNT” setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard governing DNT signals, our Services may not respond to traditional DNT signals.
We do, however, process qualifying Global Privacy Control signals as described above where required by law.
Third parties providing advertising, analytics, or similar services through our Services may collect information regarding your online activities over time and across different websites or services, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve ecommerce services.
Information submitted through the Services may be transmitted to and processed by Shopify and other service providers in countries other than the country where you live.
We also use Shopify features that may incorporate information obtained from interactions with our store, Shopify, and other merchants to provide and improve Shopify services.
In circumstances where Shopify determines the purposes and means of processing, Shopify is responsible for that processing and for responding to applicable privacy requests relating to that processing.

Payment providers process payment information in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.
Data Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults purchasing products for themselves or their families and are not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13.
If we learn that personal information has been collected directly from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
California Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable exceptions, California residents may have the following rights under the CCPA:
