For families who like the look of a twin-over-twin bunk but want a more open feel around the lower bed, this taller stairway design adds extra headroom without changing the bed sizes. The four-step stairway includes four built-in drawers, so storage is part of the bed, not another piece of furniture. You can assemble the stairs on either side to work with different layouts. A classic white finish keeps the taller frame looking bright, clean, and easy to coordinate.
Solid Brazilian pine construction with no particleboard gives the bunk a solid base, and you can separate the frame into two twin beds when you no longer need a stacked arrangement. The extra headroom and built-in stair storage make this a useful step up from a standard-height twin-over-twin design.
